Farm Collection & Reload Operations

At J.H. Willis Ltd., we operate a well-established farm collection and reload business from our dedicated site in Gresford, near Wrexham, North Wales – ideally located to serve dairy producers and processors across the region and beyond.

Bulk Farm Collection

We provide reliable and efficient bulk milk collection using a fleet of articulated and rigid vehicles, with capacities of up to 28,000 litres.
Our vehicles are purpose-built for the dairy industry and are fully equipped with:

• Automatic metering systems to ensure accurate volume recording at every collection point

• Advanced data capture technology, allowing seamless digital record-keeping and traceability

• Real-time vehicle tracking systems so we can monitor collections and provide precise ETAs to customers

Our experienced drivers and operations team ensure a professional service 365 days a year, with a focus on hygiene, safety, and punctuality.

Reload Tanker Operations

In addition to farm collections, we operate a fleet of high-capacity articulated reload tankers for onward bulk transportation. These tankers are:

• 28,500 litres in capacity

• Foodstuffs only, with strict compliance to industry standards

• Gravity discharge, offering reliable and efficient unloading at processing facilities

• Fitted with GPS tracking units for full visibility and operational control

This setup allows us to respond flexibly to changing customer requirements, reroute in real time if needed, and maintain consistently high service levels across all areas of our business.
